These Terms and Conditions are provided by MASCOT LABS, represented by Developer. Mohamed Ali ("we", "us" or "our"). They govern our website, digital products and services.
Mascot Labs is a software and technology business specialising in software engineering, artificial intelligence, automation, digital product development and technology solutions.
These Terms and Conditions govern access to our website and the purchase, licensing and use of products and services supplied by Mascot Labs.
By placing an order or entering into an agreement incorporating these Terms, you agree to be bound by them.
Additional product-specific terms, software licences, subscription agreements or statements of work may apply to particular purchases or services. Any additional terms will be made available before the relevant agreement is concluded.
Where specific terms address a matter differently from these general Terms, the specific terms will apply to that matter, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Mascot Labs develops, distributes and provides technology products and services, including but not limited to:
Individual products and services may be offered through one-time purchases, subscriptions, licensing arrangements, fixed-price projects or individually agreed service contracts.
The applicable features, specifications, availability, usage conditions and commercial terms will be described in the relevant product listing, quotation or service agreement.
Prices may be displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) or other supported currencies, depending on the product, service, customer location and payment provider.
Where a product or service is available through multiple purchasing platforms, the displayed currency and available payment methods may vary.
Before a customer commits to payment, the checkout or quotation will identify the applicable price, payment currency, taxes, mandatory charges and whether the payment is one-time, recurring or milestone-based.
Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment providers. Available payment methods and any applicable provider terms will be identified during checkout.
For subscriptions, the billing frequency, recurring charges, renewal arrangements and cancellation method will be disclosed before purchase.
Custom development projects and professional services may require deposits, milestone payments or other arrangements agreed in writing.
We will disclose mandatory charges before a customer places an order. Any currency conversion by a customer's card issuer or payment provider is outside our control and will be governed by that provider's terms.
Customers may purchase products or request services through our website, authorised sales platforms or direct business communication.
Sending us an enquiry or requesting a quotation does not place an order or create a contract.
For a product bought through an online marketplace or merchant-of-record platform, the purchasing contract is formed on the terms stated by the seller at checkout. Our product licence separately governs use of our software. For purchases made directly from Mascot Labs, a contract is formed when we accept the order and send confirmation. For bespoke services, the contract is formed when both parties accept the agreed written proposal or statement of work.
Customers will receive confirmation of accepted orders or agreements through email, their account or another agreed communication method.
If an accepted order cannot be supplied, we will promptly explain the problem and offer a lawful remedy. If a payment has been taken for something that cannot be delivered, we will arrange any refund due, using the seller or payment platform responsible for that transaction.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information necessary for order processing, service delivery and communication.
Mascot Labs supplies products and services electronically unless otherwise agreed.
Depending on the nature of the purchase, delivery may include:
Delivery methods, access arrangements and any applicable timescales will be communicated in the relevant product or service description.
For bespoke work, project milestones and delivery dates will be governed by the agreed proposal or statement of work.
Customers should notify us promptly if they experience missing files, inaccessible accounts, failed delivery or other technical difficulties.
We will investigate reported issues and provide appropriate assistance or remedies in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
All intellectual property rights in Mascot Labs' original software, applications, website content, digital products, designs, documentation, educational materials and related technology remain the property of Mascot Labs or their respective rights holders unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Purchasing a digital product does not automatically transfer ownership of its underlying intellectual property.
Customers receive the rights and permissions expressly granted by the applicable product licence, subscription agreement or service contract.
Depending on the product or service, such permissions may include installing software, accessing an online platform, using digital templates, modifying permitted materials or accessing educational content.
Customers must not reproduce, redistribute, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit protected Mascot Labs materials beyond the permissions granted by the applicable agreement or permitted by law.
For bespoke development projects, ownership of source code, project deliverables, third-party components and intellectual property rights will be determined by the agreed service contract.
Customers retain ownership of their own original content, business records and materials supplied to Mascot Labs, unless otherwise agreed.
Certain products and services may require customers to create an account or obtain access credentials.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login information and taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access.
Customers must not use Mascot Labs products, services or systems to:
Where necessary to protect security, prevent misuse or comply with legal obligations, we may restrict or suspend access in a reasonable and proportionate manner, subject to applicable contractual and statutory rights.
Some Mascot Labs products and services may be supplied through recurring subscriptions.
Where subscriptions are offered, the applicable plan will explain the billing cycle, renewal terms, included features, service limitations and cancellation procedure.
Customers may cancel recurring subscriptions through the cancellation method disclosed when subscribing, which will be accessible and reasonably straightforward. The termination date, any final payment and access after cancellation will follow the plan conditions and applicable consumer law. Customers may also request help by emailing us; a message to us may not replace an additional notice required by a separate seller of record, which will be clearly identified at checkout.
For hosted services, we aim to maintain reliable availability and address reported faults within a reasonable period.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical failures, security incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Any guaranteed uptime, response time, maintenance commitment or service-level agreement will apply only where expressly agreed.
Technical support, updates, maintenance and upgrade entitlements depend on the relevant product or service agreement.
Unless expressly offered, purchasing one product or service does not automatically entitle customers to unrelated products, unlimited consultancy or all future major releases.
Cancellation and refund arrangements depend on the type of product or service purchased, the applicable agreement and the customer's statutory rights.
Digital Products
Consumers purchasing digital content online generally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Where digital content is supplied during that period, the cancellation right may be lost once supply begins only where the consumer has first expressly consented to early supply, acknowledged the loss of the cancellation right and received the legally required confirmation. A policy statement alone does not amount to that consent.
Services and Bespoke Development
For consumer service contracts concluded at a distance, statutory cancellation rights may apply.
If a consumer expressly requests that services begin during the cancellation period, the consumer may be responsible for a proportionate charge for services properly supplied before a valid cancellation, where permitted by law.
For custom development and business-to-business projects, cancellation arrangements, project commitments and any applicable charges will be governed by the agreed service contract, subject to mandatory law.
Subscriptions
Subscription cancellation, renewal and refund arrangements will be disclosed before purchase and must comply with applicable consumer protection requirements.
Faulty Products and Services
Customers retain their statutory rights where digital content or services fail to meet applicable legal standards.
We will investigate reported issues and provide appropriate remedies, which may include correction, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund where required by law.
Our separate Refund Policy provides additional information about refund requests and the relevant procedures.
Nothing in these Terms removes or reduces mandatory consumer rights.
Mascot Labs may provide programming, engineering, software development, automation consultancy, technical training and educational resources.
Professional services will be performed with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with the applicable agreement and legal requirements.
For custom projects, the scope of work, deliverables, client responsibilities, milestones and acceptance arrangements will be agreed before work begins.
Material changes to an agreed project scope, timetable or price must be communicated and agreed through the applicable change process.
Educational content is provided for learning and professional development. Completion of a course does not guarantee employment, certification, commercial success or a particular professional outcome unless an express and accurate commitment has been made.
Artificial intelligence systems and automated tools may produce incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable outputs.
Customers should apply appropriate human review, testing and professional judgement before relying on such outputs, particularly for financial, legal, security-sensitive or other consequential decisions.
These statements do not reduce Mascot Labs' responsibility to provide products and services that meet their descriptions, agreed specifications and applicable legal standards.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Mascot Labs remains responsible for its obligations under applicable consumer protection law, including duties relating to digital content and services.
For consumer customers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage arising from a breach of our obligations or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill, in accordance with applicable law.
For business customers only, and to the extent the law permits, we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses or loss of business profits arising under these general website terms. Any negotiated limitations for a bespoke project will be set out in its written contract. This clause does not affect non-excludable liabilities.
Any additional contractual limitations applying to bespoke projects, enterprise services or other business arrangements must be expressly agreed and must be lawful and reasonable.
Customers should maintain appropriate backups of important business data and take reasonable precautions when implementing software, automation and technology solutions.
Nothing in this section transfers responsibility for defects or losses that the law requires Mascot Labs to bear.
Mascot Labs processes personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal information may be collected where necessary to manage enquiries, administer accounts, process orders, deliver services, provide support or comply with legal obligations.
Our separate Privacy Policy explains the categories of information collected, the purposes and lawful bases of processing, relevant service providers, retention arrangements and individual rights.
Where a bespoke service involves processing personal data on behalf of a client, any required data processing agreement will be established separately.
For privacy enquiries, please use the details in Section 15 or consult our Privacy Policy.
Mascot Labs may develop new products, introduce additional services, improve existing technology or discontinue individual offerings.
Changes affecting an existing customer agreement will be handled in accordance with that agreement and applicable law.
For ongoing or subscription services, any contractual changes affecting price, material features or customer rights will be communicated as required by the applicable agreement and law.
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in business operations, legal requirements or our products and services.
Updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised effective date.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights under completed purchases or existing agreements where doing so would be unlawful or unfair.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal protections applicable to consumers.
Nothing in these Terms prevents consumers from exercising rights or bringing proceedings in a court permitted under applicable law.
Disputes involving business customers may be governed by additional jurisdiction or dispute-resolution provisions expressly agreed in the relevant service contract.
We encourage customers to contact us first regarding any complaint, purchase issue or service concern so that we can investigate and seek an appropriate resolution.

This policy explains cancellation rights, refunds and remedies for products and services provided by MASCOT LABS, represented by Developer. Mohamed Ali.
This policy applies to downloadable software, digital products, online courses, hosted software subscriptions and development or engineering services where we are the contracting seller. Where a third-party marketplace or merchant of record is identified as the seller at checkout, its buyer/refund terms also apply to that transaction; contact the seller named on your receipt to obtain payment-related refunds. We will help customers resolve issues with our products. Your statutory consumer rights always take priority.
A consumer buying digital content supplied without a physical medium (for example, a downloaded program, template or online course) generally has a 14-day cancellation period from the day after the contract is made, unless a lawful exception applies. If supply is to start during that period, the consumer must expressly consent to early supply and acknowledge that the right to cancel will be lost once supply begins. The seller must give the confirmation required by law. When all those requirements are satisfied, the cancellation right may end when digital supply begins.
Downloading alone is not a blanket waiver. If the necessary consent, acknowledgement or confirmation is missing, applicable cancellation rights remain. If you wish to cancel before supply begins, contact us or the seller shown on the receipt using the relevant order details.
Where we offer SaaS or another recurring service, the applicable plan will disclose the price, billing frequency, renewal conditions, contract length and how to cancel before you subscribe. Ending a subscription stops future renewals in accordance with the plan terms and applicable law; it does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund for a past period of properly supplied service. Consumers may also have cooling-off and other statutory cancellation rights, including any rules in force when the subscription is sold. We will comply with those rights even where the subscription terms say otherwise.
For distance contracts with consumers, a 14-day cancellation period will generally apply, subject to the statutory rules and exceptions. If you expressly ask us to begin services during that period and subsequently cancel, a proportionate charge may be due for the services already provided, if the legal conditions are met. If the services have been fully performed following the necessary express request and acknowledgement, the cancellation right may be lost where the law provides.
For business-to-business work, agreed deposits, milestones, cancellation fees and work completed will be dealt with under the signed proposal or statement of work, subject to applicable law. If a project has not yet been agreed or accepted, an enquiry alone carries no charge.
Digital content supplied to consumers must meet applicable legal standards. If a product is faulty, not as described or not fit for a purpose made known to us where the law applies, customers may be entitled to repair or replacement and, where appropriate, a price reduction or refund. Customers purchasing services may be entitled to repeat performance or a price reduction where services do not meet the applicable legal requirements.
Please give us reasonable information about the issue so we can investigate. We may ask for a reproducible example or error description, but we will not demand unnecessary access to private business files. This policy does not remove statutory remedies, including remedies where defective digital content causes qualifying damage to a consumer's device or other digital content.
If you have paid but cannot access a product, course or service, we will investigate and arrange the missing delivery or another appropriate remedy. If there has been an accidental duplicate charge, please provide the relevant order references so it can be checked and corrected or refunded where appropriate. If the seller of record is a third party, refunds will be processed by that seller or the responsible payment provider.
To request a cancellation or refund, use the email or telephone number in the contact block in Section 9. Include your order reference, purchase date, product or service name, email used for the order and a brief explanation. If a separate seller of record appears on your receipt, you may also use that seller’s buyer-support channel. We may request reasonable evidence to assess eligibility. Never send full card details, passwords or banking credentials.
Where a refund is legally due, it will be provided within the applicable statutory timeframe and normally returned through the original payment method, unless the law or the customer permits an alternative. Approved goodwill refunds are discretionary and do not replace legal entitlements.
If a purchase is fully refunded and the applicable terms permit termination, the licence or paid access associated with that refunded purchase may end. This does not remove any rights that cannot lawfully be withdrawn, and it does not permit us to take ownership of the customer's own data or original materials.
Updates to this policy apply prospectively and do not unlawfully reduce existing rights. Please also see our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. The contact details below are available for refund enquiries.

MASCOT LABS, represented by Developer. Mohamed Ali, is responsible for the personal information we process through our website, enquiries and direct customer support. The legal controller and contact details appear in Section 10.
A separate marketplace, merchant of record or payment provider may act as an independent controller of transaction and payment information under its own privacy notice. Its identity is displayed when a payment service is enabled and at checkout.
Website enquiries: the email address, enquiry subject and message you submit; any additional information you voluntarily include; and our correspondence with you.
Orders and support where sales are enabled: contact and billing details, order references, purchased items or service arrangements, payment status, receipts, support history and download or account-entitlement information provided to us by the relevant seller or provider. We do not request full payment-card details through our website contact form.
Accounts, hosted services and courses where offered: credentials or account identifiers, subscription and usage records reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service and information supplied to us by the account holder. Product-specific notices may give further detail when such services launch.
Technical data: hosting and security providers may record IP addresses, browser details, request metadata and diagnostic or anti-abuse information for operating and protecting the site.
We do not intentionally deploy advertising pixels or non-essential analytics trackers in the current static website files. This may change only after the required privacy and consent arrangements have been implemented.
Enquiries and general support: responding to messages and maintaining secure, effective customer communications, under our legitimate interests in operating the business; where your request is a step towards a contract, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into that contract.
Orders, products, courses, accounts and agreed services: performing a contract or taking pre-contract steps, including delivering digital goods and managing customer requests.
Accounting, tax and legal compliance: complying with legal obligations, including applicable business record retention and responding to lawful requests.
Fraud prevention and security: legitimate interests in preventing misuse, securing the website and protecting transactions, balanced against your rights.
Marketing communications: consent or another lawful basis available under data-protection and electronic-marketing law, with appropriate choice and opt-out mechanisms. The current website does not contain a newsletter signup.
We currently use Cloudflare Pages for website hosting and security, FormSubmit to forward website-form enquiries, and Google Gmail for business email and correspondence. These providers process data according to their roles and services. We may also share information with an expressly identified checkout or licensing service when it is activated, professional advisers, and public authorities where legally required.
We do not sell customer enquiry information or use it for third-party advertising. We do not disclose personal data beyond what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Cloudflare, Google, FormSubmit or later-selected technology providers may process information in countries outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, the relevant provider or transfer arrangement must use an applicable adequacy decision or other recognised safeguard, such as UK international data transfer contractual terms. You may request further information from our privacy contact. We review the relevant service arrangements when appointing a provider.
Enquiry and routine support messages: ordinarily up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless an ongoing dispute, legal duty or legitimate need requires longer.
Invoices, payments and tax records: for at least the period required for the relevant UK business-tax records, generally five years after the 31 January Self Assessment filing deadline for the tax year concerned, and longer where an investigation or other obligation requires.
Product access and licensing records: for the duration necessary to provide and evidence the licence or subscription, resolve support and contractual issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Access records may be deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
Security logs: for the retention periods used by the hosting and security providers, based on the technical and security purpose of those logs.
Records are deleted, anonymised or securely archived at the end of the applicable period, subject to legal obligations and technical backups.
Depending on the circumstances and legal exceptions, you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. To exercise your rights, use the contact details in Section 10. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity before responding. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
The current published website source does not include first-party analytics or advertising scripts. The hosting and security services may use strictly necessary technologies to operate and protect the site. Before adding non-essential cookies, analytics or advertising technologies, we will explain their purposes and obtain consent where the law requires. Browser settings may also allow you to control certain technologies.
We use reasonable access controls and security measures appropriate to the information and services concerned. Internet transmission is never guaranteed to be risk-free. Avoid including passwords, bank details, identity documents or confidential customer records in an ordinary enquiry. Third-party websites linked from our pages have their own privacy practices.
We will update this policy if our processing practices, services or legal obligations materially change. The effective date at the top identifies this version. Use the details below for privacy questions or rights requests. You can also read our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy.

Product: Smart Business Dashboard (the “Software”)
This End User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between MASCOT LABS, represented by Developer. Mohamed Ali ("Licensor", "we", "us"), and the individual or business acquiring a valid licence ("Licensee", "you"). Our legal proprietor and contact details appear in Section 9.
This Agreement applies only to Smart Business Dashboard and its supplied documentation. It operates alongside the general Terms and Conditions and any purchasing terms of the seller of record identified at checkout. Purchasing terms govern the transaction; this Agreement governs your permission to use the Software.
After a valid purchase, we grant the Licensee a perpetual licence to use the purchased version of the Software for the Licensee's own personal or internal business purposes. The licence is non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable. A business purchase covers one purchasing business and its authorised internal users acting on that business's behalf; it does not extend to separate legal entities, clients or unrelated businesses. No fixed device or seat limit is imposed by this version of the Agreement, but distribution beyond the licensed purchasing business is prohibited.
The licence is not a subscription and does not require a recurring licence payment for continued lawful use of the purchased version.
You may install, open and use the purchased workbook and documentation; input, revise and export your own records; customise the workbook for your licensed internal use (including editing permitted formulas or layouts); make reasonable copies for backup or internal business continuity; and generate, print and share invoices, reports and other outputs created from your own data. Your original business records and outputs belong to you.
Except where the law permits otherwise or we give written permission, you must not sell, distribute, share, publicly upload, sublicense, rent or license copies of the original Software, templates or documentation to third parties; make it available for separate businesses to use under one purchase; package or market substantially copied original materials as a competing product; or misrepresent ownership of Mascot Labs materials. Modifying a copy does not grant you the right to redistribute it.
This Agreement does not restrict acts that applicable law permits regardless of contractual terms.
The Software and original supplied documentation are licensed, not sold, and remain the intellectual property of the Licensor or relevant rights holders. You retain ownership of the information you enter into the Software. Microsoft Excel is a separate product and is not supplied under this Agreement. Requirements and compatibility are those accurately stated on the product listing at the time of purchase.
Delivery takes place through the download arrangement described at checkout or in the order confirmation. Keep a secure backup of the purchased files and your business data. We will investigate reasonable download and reproducible product-defect reports submitted through the contact details in Section 9. Updates or major new versions are not included unless expressly offered or required as a legal remedy. We do not guarantee that subsequent third-party software changes will preserve compatibility indefinitely.
The Software is a business recordkeeping and reporting tool; it is not accounting, legal or tax advice. Check all inputs, settings, calculations and outputs before relying on them for financial decisions or statutory returns. This does not exclude or reduce any statutory obligation to provide digital content that conforms to its description and other applicable quality requirements.
Cancellation and refund rights are explained in the Refund Policy, the applicable purchase agreement and mandatory consumer law. Where a lawful full refund is issued and the associated licence is terminated, you must cease using the licensed Software and delete its copies, except as required by law or to preserve your own underlying records. You remain free to retain your own data and reports. A material licence breach may justify termination following written notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy where appropriate. Consumer rights are preserved.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing reduces statutory consumer rights. This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections applicable to consumers in their country of residence. For assistance, use the details below.
